RESPONSIBILITIES

The Test lead will lead a small group of testers and provide guidance, support and hands-on test management. Significant project/program experience in an enterprise preferred.

• Involvement in the planning, monitoring, and control of the testing activities and tasks. 
• Develop overall test strategy
• Review and endorse test plan and test report
• Develop UAT Test Cases
• Manage and provide leadership to a group of test professionals in the organization. 
• Collaborate with the stakeholders, devise the test objectives, test strategies, and test plans. 
• Measure, report and manage defects remediation, progress and test results throughout testing phases; 
• Develop and refine test processes, methodologies, disciplines and measurements 
• Raises risks and issues
• Ensure the effective application of defect management practices 
• Provide regular progress updates and input into the weekly project status reports and other formal communications 

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Must have minimum ISTQB Foundations certificate
• Ideally have ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst but not essential
• SQL skills
• Strong functional testing expertise
• Proven project experience in software testing to provide considered, meaningful and applicable advice
• Demonstrated technical aptitude to be able to understand, question and organize technical topics and translate them into business terms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence internal and external decision-makers
• good business analysis skills, will contribute to requirements continuous improvement processes

ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of an on-going partnership with a leading financial organization, Test Perform are looking to hire an experience Test Automation Engineer with experience of working in a CI/CD environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work across some high-profile projects in a highly technical environment.

• Perform automation testing
• Confirm the testing requirements and what tests are needed to prove business/project goals have been reached.
• At sprint planning, sign off that all work in the sprint is testable and that a plan exists for setting those test cases up
• During the sprint, help the testing team support dev activity
• Co-ordinate and write new automated test cases
• Ensure that test cases written by the testing team meet quality standards
• After the sprint, guiding exploratory testing on the resulting deployable increment
• Update test reporting on test status for the product
• Supporting testing activity in higher environments (SIT, UAT and a variety of Pre-Prod areas)

SKILLS

• Strong understanding of test automation and how it fits into a Bamboo/jenkins build. Expert in setting up data for Test automation, running system components and extracting and testing results.
• Strong experience working in CI/CD environment and managing the output. Working knowledge of Gherkins, bamboo/Jenkins, GIT repo etc
• Understands difference between Product-centric testing and Project-centric testing. Ability to exhibit that operational system meets requirements and being able to demonstrate that to the PM and POs.
• A seasoned Quality Engineer who understands all the different types of testing, when they’re applicable, what’s needed for each type, and knows what sorts of tests to execute in each activity.
• Working knowledge of BDD with Cucumber and ruby scripting with Watir Web driver and test management tools like ALM, JIRA. Device Automation using Appium
• A flexible team player who understands Agile testing principles and contribute towards Quality, and even more, is willing to speak out and suggest different testing approaches
• Strong experience working in Agile environment participating in sprint planning. Finalising goals the team working towards.

THE ROLE

Test Perform is seeking a Performance Test Specialist. You will have the desire to take on a hands-on role and have a real interest in team development. Ideally, you will also have some experience within a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment and have an interest in best practice performance testing. 

Required Skills/Experience:

• Technical Performance Tester with 5+ years experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills
• Load testing, performance testing, stress testing utilising the Micro Focus LoadRunner suite (Professional / Cloud / Enterprise) and open source tools
• Ability to explain the value and processes of performance testing to projects
• Provide well written documentation and the provision of performance test plans and test summary reports to stakeholders
• Ability to provide expert performance testing advice, guidance, offer suggestions, etc. and be seen as a performance testing subject matter expert within the team

Bonus Experience:

• Experience with application and database performance tuning / engineering
• Knowledge of performance testing with CI/CD
• Performance testing experience with cloud infrastructure

THE ROLE:

In this role you will work closely with developers and understand how to translate risk management practices and application security findings into actionable code fixes. You also investigate weak points and implement solutions to fix these identified vulnerabilities and risks while educating your team on how to build secure software, and look into the automation of security testing.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience in development, secure code reviews and DevSecOps environments
• Some prior consulting experience is desirable
• Knowledge in any of the following;
• Automation skills particularly in the DevSecOps space
• Cloud engineering - AWS, GCP and Azure
• OSCP and/or OSWE certification 
• SAST – Fortify, Checkmarx and/or Veracode
• SCA – Blackduck, Sonatype and/or SourceClear
